The action is entertaining and well staged, and the vengeance story is satisfying (if rarely plausible). Garner plays it well, with even a dash of dry humor, and she’s very easy to root for. It’s a shame the script isn’t a little more thoughtful, and it’s really puzzling why they decided to shoot it like a ’90s direct-to-video afterthought.
