I was probably destined to hate this film, since the sound of a screaming tantrum from a defiant child is way above “nails on a chalkboard” on the list of ways to get under my skin, but man, I really never felt like it went anywhere near trying to make a point. It felt like the same three scenes, over and over, just crazier and louder each time.
