It’s always a treat to watch Clooney in this type of character, exuding supreme cool—and especially fun to see him shocked out of that mode, and scrambling to regain control. I liked the balance of action, humor, and emotion; I loved the interrogation scene in the motel room; and the final shot was sublime—it’s difficult to put a satisfying ending on a story like this, and they nailed it.
