Easily my favorite and most watchable work from Yorgos Lanthimos. The casting is excellent, and the visual style is spectacular, surprising, and perfect. Stone is garnering well-deserved adulation for an unbridled and revelatory characterization, but Ruffalo deserves just as much credit; they both turn in tremendous work, inhabiting unique characters whose dynamic is captivating, hilarious, and poignant.
