The story and the comedy premise have potential, but the script is all over the place, tapping into some clever ideas while making a mess of most of it. Still, the Sandler/Aniston chemistry is surprisingly crisp, making it a fun watch, even though it’s more like a series of thematically related sketches than a movie.
