Features moving work from Freeman and especially Florence Pugh, and a steadier directorial hand than Johnny Scrubs displayed in Going in Style (especially the stirring introduction). The script is a bit undisciplined, though, and the act breaks seem mistimed. It’s hard to tell when the story is up and running, which means playing a bit of catch-up as it veers toward its conclusion.
