The role is an interesting choice for Steve—maybe not the perfect fit, but I applaud him exploring new options. He brings his talent with comedic physicality, but there are other scenes where it feels like he’s not quite connecting with the character. Neeson and Davidovich are miscast, too. But somehow even with all these missteps the heart of it is really satisfying and it’s got some unique characters and great moments.
