Impeccable structure, sizzling dialogue, and strong performances all around. A standout role for Demi Moore, in a career with little else to speak of. It’s a shame she didn’t get a crack at more scripts this good, but I suppose few actresses in Hollywood have that good fortune. The score sounds a bit dated to modern ears, but does some remarkable work at the right moments.
