Surprisingly well-constructed thriller with the number of twists you’d expect, but not always in the ways you’d think. McConaughey’s winning performance keeps some of the script’s flaws from being too noticeable. Ryan Phillippe continues to demonstrate why not everyone with a nice face is cut out to be a movie actor.
