I do understand why people would give this a bad review. I know they expect more from movies, and I like those kinds of movies, too. But I’m sorry they can’t also enjoy this for how gleefully absurd and delightful it is. In many ways, that particular combo is a thrill that only a movie can deliver. Others have done it better, certainly, in the history of movies. But experiencing a fun ride for the first time does hold a certain value.
