The visuals are great, and Awkwafina delivers a truly engaging performance that really grounds the story. I love the varying animation styles, the cultural authenticity, and the choppy, episodic approach to the adventure, which trims the fat and boosts the fun. It’d be nice to see them pull this kind of thing off without a chunk of heavy mythology narrated right at the start.
