Emerald Fennell has achieved something truly remarkable. Staggering strength and confident bold expression in every scene, and a tour de force performance from Mulligan. The arch style takes a bit of getting used to at first, but does a lot to drive the point home. Bo Burnham acquits himself well, also. The entire supporting cast is to die for.
