The dialogue and characters are inconsistent, but can’t hold a candle to the wildly fluctuating tone. Very little makes sense, and it feels like one or two early scenes could have cleared up a lot of it. Brooks plays it well, for what he's given, but this was a waste of the time and talents of everyone in it.
