An excellent follow-up, developing its own pace and tone while maintaining all of the warmth and character of the original. Krasinksi flexes some well-earned confidence as a director—he expands the world of the story and deepens its examination of parents and their impact on children by putting the youngsters in a position to show what they’ve learned.
