It’s rare that I agree with Quentin Tarantino about anything, but his response to this film’s Cannes debut sums it up perfectly. The TV series doesn’t exactly live up to its reputation, but this film is absolutely worthless. Filmmaking is an art form and a craft—Lynch missed the mark on both.
