The pitch is pretty bad: a hyper-Christian story of Kirk Cameron as a firefighter with a marriage on the rocks. The film is somehow worse, with leaden dialogue, haphazard performance energy, and the same nuanced emotional complexity you’d expect from a Tommy Wiseau film. On the plus side, we get a hilarious peek at what fundie Christians think “online porn” is!
