Heartbreaking, sweet, and subtle, using music and a handmade visual style elegantly to evoke memories, feelings, what could have been. It depicts a horror that should be so unfamiliar that an audience can’t even tell what’s happening without dialogue, but sadly—infuriatingly—we know exactly what we’re seeing.
