A pleasing mix of Wes Anderson and David O. Russell at times, a little overbearing at times, it’s interesting and thought-provoking to say the least. Gerwig’s delivery is surprisingly unnatural in many scenes—so much that I assume it must have been intentional, but if it is, it misses the mark somehow.
