Janet Munro is radiant, and her smile matches Lad Sean Connery sparkle-for-sparkle. The forced perspective effects are impressive and forward-looking, and the witty banter between Sharpe and O’Dea is charming. The story lags a little, like a short fable that’s been padded for time, but delivers on its premise well.
