Documents the tortured, decades-long history of a genius failing to complete his masterpiece, then having it taken from him. Nobody is entirely blameless, but it’s interesting to think how it might have gone differently if just one of the twists and turns had gone the right way. (Also offers a gruesome peek at Miramax’s contorted version, Arabian Knight, including a godawful, cringe-inducing—reportedly improvised!—Jonathan Winters voiceover.)
