An eye-opening look at the beginning of the end for 2D animation at Disney, during what appeared outwardly to be its great Renaissance. It’s fascinating to peek behind the scenes and meet some of the artists, but the film struggles to focus on its point, and most of the personalities are undeveloped, overshadowed by the Eisner/Katzenberg feud.
