Banks on the proven chemistry between Hemsworth and Thompson, and includes some fun visuals, but the pace is extremely choppy (feels like it was rebuilt in the editing room) so it plays like a series of skits around aliens and action, without any particularly consistent narrative. Very strange choice for F. Gary Gray.
