Despite fumbling the last ten minutes, there are some very strong directing choices here, and a surprisingly impressive performance from Kelsey Grammer. The toughest part of a story where the main character has to experience an epiphany that totally rebuilds their personality is making that emotional transition feel earned. This film comes closer to achieving that than some.
