Larson delivers an excellent performance, grounding a complex character with real emotion and her own style of the sardonic Marvel wit. The script unfolds nicely, using dual timelines as she investigates her own memories to deliver a lot of information without losing momentum. Clark Gregg is, as always, a treasure.
