Tackles a bizarre, perverse concept with pitch-black comedy in a faux-documentary format that makes it more visceral and chilling, but also showcases the despicable character’s undeniable magnetism (and hypocrisy, and casual racism). The result is an emotional rollercoaster, and I’m still not sure how I feel about the film.
