Fine work from Beckinsale, and especially Rockwell, but the story seems to tackle one or two more relationships than it really has room for. As a result, it struggles to maintain a coherent rhythm, and the emotional intensity fluctuates randomly. It’s interesting drama, just not very satisfying.
