Barely a handful of comedies in the last ten years have made a convincing case that they should be watched as often as the classic comedy films of the ’80s and ’90s (or at all!). This is one of those few. It stacks funny moments into every sequence almost as densely as a 30 Rock episode, and it gets the very best out of a strong ensemble cast. McAdams and Bateman are fantastic, of course, but Kyle Chandler nails an impressive range of performance beats as his character goes through the wringer.
