Professor Marston and the Wonder Women

Some fine performances and a seemingly fascinating story can’t quite overcome a circuitous, flat script. Sex in movies is a good thing, but at times this film focuses too much on sex while telling a story about something else, resulting in some jarring tonal shifts.
