Rare is the film made for over $100 million that isn't just a string of set pieces, enhanced to varying degrees by computer effects. The good ones find clever ways to connect them, and the best ones do that with memorable, entertaining characters. This is a dud through and through, with no interesting story, no dimension to its characters, and barely half the set pieces are even fun to watch.
