Well—as is often the case—the collected minds of Metacritic are smoking crack. This is a silly, superficial film with far too many half-baked storylines. It features some great actors reveling in the camaraderie of oldsters giving each other what-for, but offers little else. Superior to Road Hogs, to be sure, but if this is S.F. Chronicle's "best movie of the summer", someone spent the summer in a labor camp.
