If you love Tom Hanks, you will love this movie. If you don't love Tom Hanks, you may be a terrorist.
I almost wish Larry could have been named Guy Patterson, because this film is an extension of Tom Hanks in the 2010s just as That Thing You Do! reflected his 1960s self. Both stories are about life and joy and passion, but above all else: character. Tom Hanks has a supernatural talent for revealing and exploring the nature of what it means to have character.
