Considerably less graphic sex than you'd expect from a European film made in the ’70s—especially one with a story that involves sex. A very courageous performance, though, and a fascinating examination of sexuality and compulsion. A little less story than it might've needed, which isn't helped by the curious decision to shuffle events out of sequence.
