I always associated “Nebula Award-winning” with hardcore Asimov/George McFly nerdling, but I was wrong. This is like a mix of the best parts of Rod Serling, Jorge Luis Borges, and Michael Crichton. Accessible, thought-provoking, and thoroughly entertaining across a wide range of subjects. I can't think of anyone to whom I wouldn't recommend this book very highly.
