David Rasche is, as expected, phenomenal. But the script has no internal consistency whatsoever. It's a series of hipster-clever skits from a world where the characters of Little Miss Sunshine were as self-obsessed as the characters of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and as enveloped in upper-middle-class ennui as the characters of The Royal Tenenbaums.
