In a weird way, this did a better job than Fight Club of delivering a similar message. Crispin Glover performs admirably in the sort of role he was made for. But the film tries to buttress its offbeat concept with an arch style, and falls short of fully committing to either. Makes a great case for having a personal army of revenge rats, though! And I counted less than half a dozen shots of CG rats, so kudos to the makers (and Boone Narr) for accomplishing so much live.
