Technically it’s absolutely dazzling (in a charmingly unassuming way), and the story is clever, unconventional, and cute—with some touching songs and messages (nobody is poor who has love in his heart; the arts are a better way to feed your family than trades and services; if all else fails, appeal to the whims of a top-hatted plutocrat and write your own ticket).
