A great example of an ending that’s satisfying even though it’s not what you hoped for. Terrific work from Pullman—everything that works so well about the film just wouldn’t if he hadn’t nailed the character, and kept his quirkiness from tipping over the precipice into unlikability. Really bold and confident debut from Jake Kasdan.
