Expertly crafted, reinventing the western genre as it examines themes of the stories we tell, the myths of masculinity, and how perception and reputation play a part in identity. In my opinion, latter-day Eastwood would do well to relearn some of those lessons, but at least in 1992 his approach was flawless.
