A perfect Gervais vehicle, in that you get to explore his world view. The equation between "not lying" and "blurting out every private thought" is a strange one, but the result is pretty fun so no reason to drive yourself crazy speculating about the film they didn't make. (Great opening credits font, for people who get that.)
