If only! They held a sneak preview in our town (among others, presumably!) – in lieu of my traditional opening night at El Capitan, this was almost as good.

This was a great film. People can harp on it, but it's obvious from all the nuance that Brad Bird is a genius. I was a tad disappointed with some of the vocal choices– Ian Holm as the main chef, in particular– because they weren't all memorable or distinct. But Peter O'Toole and Brad Garrett were the exceptions– born to be voice actors!

Aw, I thought Holm did a fine job, although fantastic animation certainly elevated it to a new level.
Are people harping on it? It wasn't what I expected at first, and the director changeover was apparent (only slightly), but it really held up on the second viewing and it's better reviewed than almost anything ever. I'd like to meet these harpers! Are you talking about Gleiberman?
