It’s imperfect, but its cast isn’t, and it’s a high wire act of engineering, just getting all of the action to work out. Reeves and Ritter each crack me up from start to finish, and Bogdanovich does some masterful work pulling off the timing of a farce-within-a-farce and getting almost all of the beats to land.
