I'm only halfway through it, but judging by your stars, I'm getting the feeling we agree.

Yeah, and I feel terrible about it. :)

There were moments I loved it, and moments I hated it. Usually alternating, often simultaneous. It's got a very funny perspective and many funny moments, but it's unbound by any constrictions of logic, reason, or physics. Which results in bizarre leaps and non-sequiturs just for the sake of a single joke. And the main character (who's written as a slightly more self-aware version of the Randy character on My Name Is Earl) is often hilarious but more often maddening.

I'm curious whether it's worth picking up one of his other books – which may take on a different style – or if he just works best on a team, and with a 30-minute time limit.
