Awesome!! I love seeing these pictures. Was the bomb always under there, really? Did adding the light source in the corner of the room change it, or was that lamp always there, just unseen from our viewpoint?

The lamp wasn't there before. (Neither was the wall for that matter.) As I understand it, light won't bounce off the ceiling and light up the room in Maya the way it would in real life. But after adding the floor lamp, I added an ambient light source near the ceiling right above it, to simulate that same effect. So, yeah, the scene is a little brighter as a result of the new lamp, but nothing's ever simple.
